My second IIOI tour ever. March 2010.
This was one of the best weeks I had ever had on a tour. Evan threw up outside of my car after accidentally smelling a pair of my shoes while trying to clean out my car.
photograph by drew conte, the re-edit by me (here is the original)
this photograph of an old couple walking in philadelphia was taken by drew, i’m sure while he was trying to avoid doing any real work while at work, with his iphone. it was then posted on instagram and then on to facebook. i found the photo, immediately commented and then decided to make a quick black and white edit of the photo. every day all over the world, people are taking millions of photos of themselves, their food, a puppy, some really boring shirt, a sunset, or sunglasses, other stuff, but once in a while someone takes one photograph with their cell phone that stays forever in the mind of someone who takes them for living. life is beautiful.
